A list of unused ideas for 101 Dalmatian Street, taken from the bibles for the series.

Characters[]

  • Donald - a proposed Dalmatian that would have been a "four-legged filing cabinet," knowing every piece of information of every family member. Additionally, he was meant to be envious of Dylan, as Donald is only a millisecond younger than him.
  • Dvorak - a tuba-playing Dalmatian. The original bible remarks, "He couldn't play a COOL instrument? No?" While Dvorak wasn't seen in the final series, DJ filled the role of puppy musician.
  • Dixie 'n' Darnell - a pair of particularly rowdy Dalmatian puppies. Dizzy and Dee Dee act as the playful puppy duo for the final series.
  • Names for the Puppy Ensemble that were left unused include Dot, Dre, Divine, Duane, Dexter, Daryll, Dellillah, Deacon, Dino, Dewi, Devon, Debbie, Dina, Dennis, Derry, Dermot, Demi, Dana, Darwin, Danny, Donnie, Darcie, Douglas, Dave, and Dawn.

Episodes[]

  • "Over The Garden Wall" - Clarissa, fed up with the Dalmatians flinging frisbees into her garden, manipulates her human into installing a security system for her backyard. However, Dorothy's blanket ends up on the other side of the fence, resulting in Dylan and Daisy risking everything to get it back. Dorothy losing a prized object would later occur in "Diamond Dogs."
  • "Cone of Shame" - Dylan has had an operation and must wear a cone. As a result, he becomes self-conscious, though he eventually accepts himself.
  • "Go The Dot to Sleep" - Because of a full moon, Dylan can't stop his sibilings from howling. Meanwhile, Clarissa has ratted out the family to the dog pound police for having no human. Clarissa's subplot would be reworked into "The Dog House."
  • "You've Got Mail" - Kibble packages have stopped being delivered to the Dalmatians. Dylan, having discovered Triple D have been attacking the Postman, must teach the triplets to stop.
  • "Pet Psychic" - Damon De Ville hires a pet psychic to manipulate Triple D on their film set. Reworked into "A Date with Destiny… Dallas and Déjà Vu."
  • "Whistle Blower" - Constantin buys a dog whistle as revenge against the Dalmatians.
  • "Daisy Downer" - When Daisy loses an athletics competition, Dylan must teach her to accept failure.
  • "Dorothy's First Dot" - Dylan anxiously anticipates Dorothy's first spot.
  • "Puppy Love" - Daisy gets her first crush on Heathcliff. The premise of this episode would later become a plot element of "Poetry Scam."
  • "Birthday Blues" - Dylan doesn't feel special on his birthday, as he must share it with the 14 other puppies in his litter. The plot point of multiple puppies sharing a birthday would be used for "It's My Party."
