Dorothy Dalmatian is a supporting character in 101 Dalmatian Street. She is the youngest of the 99 puppies among Delilah and Doug.
Character origins[]
Some concept art for Dorothy shows her with smaller ears, while others show her with bigger ears. She is also shown with a variety of collars, including a teal one, a blue one, and a pink one.
In her final design, Dorothy is given an orange collar with a bone tag. She has no spots and only one tooth, as she is the youngest of the dalmatians.
Background[]
As the youngest dalmatian, Dorothy doesn't speak, only giggling and babbling. The rest of the family are very protective of her, especially Dylan as seen in "Boom Night." As shown in "The Wow of Miaow," Dorothy has a tendency to chew things, with Deepak being the only one who can stop her.
Dorothy has a cameo appearance in "Dog's Best Friend" and larger roles in "Boom Night" and "Snow Day." In "Boom Night," her disappearance leads to Dylan and Dolly to search all of Camden to find her. At the end of the episode, it is revealed that she was on the roof of 101 all along. In "Snow Day," she wanders off in the snow. Due to her lack of spots, she is hard to find, and the Dalmatian family spends the second half of the episode looking for her. In "London, We Have a Problem," Dorothy is suspicious of and captured by Hunter. Fortunately, Dylan goes to collect her after realizing her absence. In the final moments of "The De Vil Wears Puppies," she speaks her first words, "Bye-bye!" She also appears in the Gigglebug Guarantee shorts "Merry Pups" and "Space Pups."
