Dylan has ordered an AI assistant called Fetch. Meanwhile, Delilah and Doug go out on a date for their anniversary, expecting a clean house upon their return. This results in Dylan using Fetch to help him with chores. However, when Dolly and the other puppies distract Fetch by using her for novelty purposes, Dylan has Dawkins program the device to only respond to his voice. Dawkins converses with Fetch and discovers that there is a free instant delivery for Fetches. Dolly learns of this, and soon every puppy is given their own Fetch. A panicked Dylan sees the large number of Fetches and urges Dolly and the other pups to get rid of them before their parents return. Delilah and Doug arrive home, see the pile of discarded Fetches in the backyard, and are upset with Dylan and Dolly. However, their anger is briefly distracted when the Fetches perform their anniversary song, "We're Sending You Love."

Notes[]

  • The title card design for this episode was previously used for "Dog's Best Friend," "Power to the Puppies," and "The Dog House."
  • Doug and Delilah sit on a bench during their date, alluding to the bench Anita sat on before first meeting Roger in the original One Hundred and One Dalmatians.
  • This episode, as well as its titular character, parodies AI assistants such as Amazon's Alexa.
  • The storyboard depicts Dolly lying on the staircase before lowering her to be facing Fetch upside down. This does not happen in the final episode.
