Hugo is a recurring human character in 101 Dalmatian Street. He resides at 103 Dalmatian Street and is the owner of Clarissa Corgi.
Background[]
Hugo makes a silent cameo in the pitch reel for the series. He also plays a notable role in the Gigglebug Guarantee short "Prank Pups."
Hugo appears in the series proper with "Dog's Best Friend," once again in a silet cameo. He makes recurring appearances in the series, playing supporing roles in "My Fair Dolly," "A Right Royal Rumble," "Fear Window," and "The Dog House."
Hugo is often seen complying to any of Clarissa's wishes, treating her as royalty. Hugo will go as far as to let Clarissa take him for a walk, with Hugo wearing a leash and Clarissa leading him. As is tradition in 101 Dalmatians productions, Hugo bears a striking resemblence to his dog. He has also made occasional appearances without Clarissa as a background human.
Hugo often invites Prunella's Pet and Arabella's Pet to his backyard for classy tea parties. He has also been shown to have a distaste for his neighbors, the Dalmatian family, though not as extreme as Clarissa. Hugo is also well-aquainted with Lord Nincompoop.
"The Dog House" reveals Hugo is bald, with his hair actually being a toupee. In "Fear Window," Hugo is given a hair transplant, though it is immediately ruined by a furious Clarissa.
