Hunter De Vil is a recurring antagonist in 101 Dalmatian Street. With his cat Cuddles in tow, he is tasked by his great-aunt Cruella De Vil to track down and capture the Dalmatian family. He resides in a skyscraper in London and is the only human in the series to understand dogs.

According to the original bible for 101 Dalmatian Street, Hunter's name was originally Damon De Ville [sic]. Additionally, his goal was to become viral online by taking photos with cute animals, as opposed to capturing the Dalmatians for Cruella.
Hunter appears in the storyboard pilot for the series, with a blocky body shape. Notably, pictures of his parents can be glimpsed in his tower, whereas the final series doesn't mention them on any occasion.
Nearing his final design, Hunter wears a red sportcoat, a white collared shirt, a black necktie, fingerless gloves, and an earring. His final design removes the earring.

For the first quarter of the series, Hunter appears as a background character. In "The Nose Job," Hunter's cat Cuddles frames the Dalmatians for vandalization in the park. Cuddles, having a camera on his collar, gives Hunter footage and information on the family, and Hunter's plans are teased at the end of the episode.
Hunter is given the spotlight in "A Date with Destiny… Dallas and Déjà Vu," in which he attempts to steal a DNA sample from Triple D, of whom he is a fan. At the episode's end, Hunter has managed to obtain a single strand of fur. With the results of a DNA test returning, Hunter discovers Triple D are, in fact, related to Pongo and Perdita.
Having confirmed Triple D are related to the original Dalmatians that outsmarted his great-aunt, Hunter and Cuddles must find where the current Dalmatians live. In "Doggy Da Vinci," after Da Vinci's t-shirts become an online sensation, Hunter sets out to find the "painty puppy." Cuddles spies on Da Vinci, Dylan, and Dolly and follows them to 101 Dalmatian Street.
In "London, We Have a Problem," Hunter, now knowing where the Dalmatians live, fully begins enacting his evil plans. He meets Dylan and gets on his good side, claiming to be just as interested in outer space as he is. As Hunter leaves, he orders Cuddles to capture Dorothy and take her back to his skyscraper. Eventually, Dylan and Dolly notice Dorothy's absence, initiating a World Wide Woof call for help. The two locate Dorothy's location--Hunter's skyscraper.
When Dylan arrives at the tower, Hunter once again tries charming Dylan with his fake interest in space and later gives Dylan and Dorothy a ride home. Now that Hunter has finally entered the Dalmatians' house, he begins using a vacuum-like machine to dog-nap the Dalmatians. However, Dylan and Dolly outsmart him, and Hunter ends up in the large shipping box intened for the Dalmatians. When Delilah and Doug return from work, they fearfully recognize Hunter's scent as the De Vil scent.
In "Dante's Inferno," Hunter is released from the shipping container after six months. Because he only survived by eating nothing but kibble, he now has canine instincts and long, glossy hair. He once again aims to carry out his plans for Cruella. When he returns to 101, he captures Dante, though Dylan and Dolly help him escape and defeat Hunter. Hunter's failed effort causes Dizzy and Dee Dee to dub him "Mr. Funny Face."
In "Better the De Vil You Know," Hunter repeatedly tries and fails to capture the Dalmatians. Cruella De Vil, fed up with her great-nephew's failures, arrives in Camden Town to take matters into her own hands.
Now with Cruella by his side in "The De Vil Wears Puppies," Hunter successfully steals the Dalmatians. However, when he learns that Cruella intends to kill the Dalmatians, Hunter begins to regret his decisions. The puppies sympathize with Hunter, redeeming him. He later helps the Dalmatians escape Cruella's clutches.
