Following the events of the previous episode, Hunter and Cuddles have found where the Dalmatian family lives; 101 Dalmatian Street. Meanwhile, Dylan expects the delivery of a high-tech space helmet called the Dogstar 3000 from the Postman. Outside, Dylan meets Hunter and is surprised to learn that he can understand dog. The two bond over their love of outer space, with Hunter suggesting that Dylan should visit his tower some time. Just before leaving, Hunter has Cuddles capture Dorothy behind Dylan's back. Dylan and Dolly later realize Dorothy's absence and start a World Wide Woof call to locate her.

Dylan and Dolly's World Wide Woof call is successful, but Dylan feels guilty when he learns that Dorothy is in Hunter's tower, choosing to venture there by himself. Suspicious, Dolly secretly follows Dylan and sees Hunter's computer and conspiracy board, growing worried of Hunter's intentions. Meanwhile, Dylan meets up with Hunter, who gives Dylan and Dorothy a ride home. Dolly returns to warn Dylan, but it's too late; Hunter beings capturing the puppies with a vacuum-like pump. Dylan and Dolly outsmart Hunter, who ends up in a storage container meant for the Dalmatians. Delilah and Doug arrive home from work and recognize Hunter's scent as the De Vil scent, revealing Hunter to be the grand-nephew of Cruella De Vil.

ProblemEndDylanDolly
  • This is the fourth episode in the Hunter Story Arc.
  • The title of the episode parodies of the misquotation "Houston, we have a problem," a phrase associated with the NASA mission Apollo 13.
  • In this episode, some of the main characters from the original One Hundred and One Dalmatians film are pictured, including Pongo, Perdita, Roger, and Anita.
  • Da Vinci is the only main Dalmatian character to not appear in this episode.
  • It is the twenty-seventh and twenty-eighth episodes in production order, but the twenty-ninth and thirtieth episodes aired. The original spots in airing have been taken over by "Long Tongue Day" and "Doggy Da Vinci."
  • As with the previous two-part special, "London, We Have a Problem" had inconsistent international airings:
    • In Italy, it aired as the twenty-fifth and twenty-sixth episodes, after "The Dog House."
    • In France, it aired as the thirty-third and thirty-fourth episodes, after "Don't Push Your Luck."
    • In Southeast Asia, it managed to air as the eleventh and twelfth episodes, after "Doggy Da Vinci."
    • In Latin America, it aired as the twenty-third and twenty-fifth episodes, with the first part airing after "The Wow of Miaow" and the second part airing after "Fear Window" and before "The Dog House."
  • In Southeast Asia, an instance of Dolly saying using the word "dork" was censored by trimming.
